Her themes range from colors, elements, weather, numbers, and so on. Her radio show explores music from all over the world. The great loves in her life are her husband Steve, her cat-My. Puffy, her dog-Buster, archery, glasswork, and fishing.

El Nortenio

Amarante, "EI Nortenio", a true native Nortenio, born and raised in Tierra Amarilla, N.M. is the evening DJ at KZRM 96.1. He is a graduate of Escalante High School, a Vietnam Veteran and especially proud of his Chicano roots. His favorite possession is his 2002 H-D FATBOY and come summer you will find him on the open road.

His program "MUSICA DEL CORAZON"  , which is in the 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm "drive home and party time slot" is a mixture of the best in Northern New Mexico, Mexican and Tejano-Mex music. "MUSICA DEL CORAZON, music a para amar, para bailar y para brindar, MUSIC FROM THE HEART, music to make love to, music to dance to, or just music to enjoy" is what the program is geared for, and as such the ability to take requests is limited, so very few if any will be acknowledged. The idea is to provide as much music entertainment with as little interruptions as possible. If you're at home, move the furniture aside and prepare to "sappatiar", boot scoot, shake your booty or "mover el bote". You don't have to understand the words to enjoy this program; the music will translate itself to definitely get your body moving. ,SO TUNE IN AND JUST ENJOY!!!

LaLaine (pronounced La La-Knee) puts her vivacious spirit into every evening! Her energetic style connects her with her listeners. Lalaine brings award-winning talent and her love of this genre of music with her. She has been heard from Florida (WOWW New Rock 107fm) to Denver (99.5fm The Hawk).
